Kathy Beale rocked as she’s arrested by police in EastEnders
ALBERT Square has lost its iconic café after a catastrophic fire wiped it out.
EastEnders legend and café owner Kathy Beale is taken in by the police who are convinced of her involvement in the fire.

Money has been tight for Kathy Beale (portrayed by Gillian Taylforth) and her new husband Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley).
The pair agreed to give Rocky’s ex-wife Jo £50k to keep her silent about his bigamy.
Rocky only made matters worse by becoming involved with loan shark Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) as his budding gambling addiction became out of control.
But instead of telling his wife what kind of a mess he had stuck himself in, Rocky decided to pay his dues by setting fire to her café and claiming the insurance money.
How will he react next week when Kathy ends up taking the fall for his deeds?
Coming up on BBC One, the Beales are distraught as one resident’s life hangs in the balance.
Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) is quick to blame Kathy for the incident.
She storms back to Walford after spotting a warm moment between Kathy and her husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Upon her return to Walford earlier this year, after she was believed to be dead, Cindy became involved in a heated altercation with Kathy, who was unable to put the past behind them.
The pair of women slapped one another in a furious display of rivalry as Kathy was shocked that her son Ian took Cindy back.
But could their relationship become even more sour?
Meanwhile, George Knight (Colin Salmon) comforts Cindy in The Vic and encourages her to head back to the hospital after sharing some home truths about her behaviour.
Back at the hospital, Cindy appears to have forgiven Kathy as she and Ian put the earlier events of the day behind them.
Unfortunately, it’s not long before the police arrive to arrest Kathy for her involvement in the fire – is there more to the situation than meets the eye?
Later on, news of Kathy’s arrest is rife on the Square as she remains at the police station having been questioned through the night.
Kathy refuses a solicitor but after hours of questioning, she starts to regret her decision.
Elsewhere, a guilty Rocky is accosted by his pal Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) who encourages him to come clean.
Rocky heads to the police station but will he really confess to the police?
Will Kathy be sent to prison?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
