In 251 appearances he scored 35 goals, assisted 25 and won five major trophies including the Champions League, the FA Cup and the Premier League.
Although he retired from professional football in 2020, Ramires returned to Stamford Bridge last week to play for Chelsea Legends in a match against Bayern Munich Legends.
And he reunited with some former teammates, including Salomon Kalou, Mikel John Obi and Florent Malouda.
The four ex-Blues posed for a picture together, which was shared on Kalou’s Instagram.
But it was Ramires’ new look that got fans talking.
The Brazilian midfielder is now sporting a beard – something never seen during his time at Chelsea.
Fans loved his new style, with one person tweeting: “Ramires looks good!! I wasn’t ready!”
Another added: “I just love this Ramires transformation!”
While a third wrote: “Wow Ramires looks so fine now.”
Joining Ramires, Kalou, Mikel and Malouda in the Chelsea Legends team were the likes of John Terry, Petr Cech, Michael Essien, Gianfranco Zola and Claude Makelele.
The Blues cruised to a 4-0 win over Bayern Munich legends in the match, which was organised to raise funds for The Chelsea Foundation and The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, in memory of Gianluca Vialli.
