Regardless of what you think of Cameron on “Big Brother 25,” you gotta hand it to him for not just blindsiding the house but the audience with his nominations. After telling everyone he was going to put up Blue and Jag, he nominated/didn’t pie Izzy and Felicia. It’s all part of a grander plan, but that plan hit a snag on Saturday.
Jared won the Veto — or was allowed it keep it, rather. It was the prizes and punishments comp and Matt actually won the comp, but he let Jared keep the Veto while he has to hang out with a cardboard cutout of Josh Duhamel for a week (Izzy and Cameron have pig costumes and had to move 2,000 cups of dirt, and Felicia and Cirie are kayakers for 48 hours). Just another comp Jared won by default! After Veto, Cam filled Jared in on Step 4 of his plan: He wants Felicia to come down and Cirie to go up to scare her and said that his target is Izzy. Is she really? He’s repeatedly called Cirie the president, Felicia the vice president and Izzy the secretary of defense. Why take out the secretary when the president is right there? He does have beef with Izzy, so him wanting her out is not surprising either.
Of course, Jared is a hard no on using the Veto and putting his mom in danger. He handled the convo disastrously through. Instead of just listening to Cam and saying he doesn’t wanna use it, he threw out everybody else’s name as a renom option. Way to make it obvious you don’t want Cirie hitting the block. It’s unclear how much Cam clocked. One of his arguments for evicting Izzy was that it would leave Cirie on an island “like ‘Survivor'” because she would have no one. After his faux noms performance, you can’t really take everything Cam says at face value unless he does a Cam cam talk.
It’d be a shocker Jared uses the Veto, but he’s being too messy throwing out names and running his mouth to everyone about renom options. So noms will remain the same, which means it’ll be the end of the road for Felicia. It is hilarious that everything is still working out for Cirie even when someone is taking a stab at the power structure for the first time. She was already fed up with Felicia’s loose lips and the cupcake incident right before Red was evicted made Felicia a bigger mark.
