Man killed in fatal hit-and-run crash in Hartford
Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in Hartford on Friday evening.
The crash took place in the area of Main Street near Rosemont Street around 6:30 p.m., according to the Harford Police Department.
Officers in the area found the man lying in the road unresponsive, police said. He was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The man’s identity has not been released at this time.
The high-speed crash was captured on multiple cameras in the area, police said. According to police, the suspected vehicle is a gray colored Jeep, possibly a Grand Cherokee, with likely front-end damage and Vermont plates.
