Inside Stacey Solomon’s very humble first home with Joe Swash before they bought £1.2m Pickle Cottage
IT’S been well over a year since Stacey Solomon first wowed her fans with a look at her £1.2million home Pickle Cottage.
The former X Factor star bought the impressive new home with her husband Joe Swash back in 2021 – and renovated it to their tastes.

The couple – who now share son Rex, three, and daughters Rose, one and newborn Belle – previously lived in another Essex home.
The pair, who were wed in their new mansion last year, often showed off their old home, which was considerably smaller than their current sprawling property.
Stacey – who is also mum to Zachary, 15, and Leighton, ten, took to Instagram in October 2018 to reveal she had first moved in with Joe.
After dating for nearly three years after meeting on I’m A Celebrity, the couple posed with moving boxes as they got settled in.
The smaller home only had room for Stacey’s eldest sons, as well as Joe’s son from a previous marriage, Harry, 15.
The pair admitted they didn’t have furniture days after moving in, as they crowded round a dog crate to eat their meals.
However, the couple soon redecorated the property, showing off a chic white and pink kitchen covered in floral accents.
The pink room featured laminated cupboards and framed photos of the family, as well as baskets of kitchen appliances.
This was soon switched up, as Stacey went on to reveal a grey and white themed space after ripping off the pink detailing.
The simple living room featured a grey sofa and a white dining table and chairs, with the room tied together with a grey rug.
Elsewhere, there was a TV area with beanbags in front of it for the boys, with plenty more framed photos of the family.
While outside, the property had a spacious green lawn and patio area, perfect for their sons to play.
Upstairs, Stacey’s sons had a blue bunk bed in one small bedroom they shared, while her room with Joe featured a large double bed.
The room, which had a jungle theme with green pillows and blankets, plants and a green an dbrown side table, was pulled together with plush grey carpet.
It comes after Stacey revealed a huge makeover at her new home Pickle Cottage – and it’s safe to say the kids will be fans.
The mum-of-five is no stranger to a bit of DIY at her gorgeous home, and last week saw her embark on a big project.
Taking to social media, Stacey revealed she’s going to swap her son Rex’s bedroom with another bedroom, so her daughters can share a room together.
The TV star finished decorating Rex’s amazing bedroom not too long ago, but in a bid to change the rooms around she’s going to be completely redecorating.
Stacey showed off her plans as she ripped down a flower wall in one room and filmed herself in the process.
