Manchester United vs Fulham betting preview: odds and predictions
AN FA Cup semi-final spot will be up for grabs at Old Trafford on Sunday – will Manchester United justify their role as favourites to beat Fulham?
Manchester United vs Fulham odds
Here are the latest match odds for Manchester United vs Fulham.
Manchester United vs Fulham betting preview
The Premier League is surely gone as a result of the recent 7-0 humbling at Anfield but, remarkably, Manchester United remain on course for a trophy treble.
With the EFL Cup already in the cabinet and progress made to the last eight of the Europa League, this FA Cup quarter-final now takes centre stage.
A home tie looks ideal for a side who have not lost at home in more than six months, while their opponents arrive in something of a funk.
Fulham have been well beaten in both of their last two games, going down 3-0 at home to Arsenal last weekend, hot on the heels of a 3-2 loss at Brentford when they were clearly second best.
There are fears the wheels are coming off what has been a highly-impressive first season back in the Premier League, although many have suggested the loss, to suspension, of Joao Palhinha for those two recent games was key to their outcome.
The Portuguese midfielder, who leads the Premier League in yellow cards, returns for this contest but won’t be facing Casemiro, who begins a suspension of his own.
Still, even with their star man back in the fold, Fulham face a tough task here.
They’ve lost eight of eight against the Premier League’s top five this season and here face a team who have been teak tough on their own ground for some time.
Erik ten Hag has found a good balance to his side, one which is really being led right now by the free-scoring Marcus Rashford.
Of course, we can’t be sure exactly who will play here, especially with the game coming less than 72 hours after a match in southern Spain, but leaving Rashford out given his form would be quite a choice.
Both sides have regularly been involved in goal-heavy games so this certainly has the potential to entertain what promises to be a large domestic TV audience.

Manchester United vs Fulham best bets
Over 2.5 goals
In the Premier League, Fulham have already landed this bet in games at Arsenal, Manchester City and Spurs.
Overall, 67% of their league matches have featured over 2.5 goals, including November’s clash at Craven Cottage.
As for their opponents, 69% of PL games at Old Trafford this season have seen at least three goals.
It’s not hard to envisage plenty of goals in this one.
Andreas Pereira 2+ shots
The former United man will surely be busting a gut to impress on his return to Old Trafford where he never really quite made it.
Now playing a more advanced role under Marco Silva at Fulham, the Brazilian has landed the 2+ shots bet in seven of his last nine outings.
He likes to try his luck from distance and is also Fulham’s go-to man for free kicks around the box.
OK, the opposition here is potentially higher than average (how many changes United make remains to be seen) but 6/4 about that stat becoming eight out of 10 looks too good to turn down.
Marcus Rashford to score at any time
We’ve obviously got the ‘who will play?’ dilemma to deal with here – it’s the FA Cup after all – but one player who is tough to leave out right now is Marcus Rashford.
The England star has been on fire since the World Cup and Thursday’s winner in Seville against Real Betis meant he has now scored in 17 of his 24 matches, post-Qatar.
Have the bookies really caught up? You can get a shade of odds-against about him scoring again in this contest.
However, perhaps it’s best to back Rashford to score first given the clear potential for him to be hauled off at half time or early in the second half – he’s played a lot of football of late.
