The Samsung India executive said that the company has focused on three major aspects as far as bringing improvements to the Galaxy S23 series is concerned. These aspects are – camera, performance and gaming, and sustainability. Talking about the camera, Babbar said this year Samsung has not only included a 200MP in its ‘Ultra’ smartphone, but it has also made the sensors and the entire camera setup intelligent enough such that it is able to capture the best possible image even under hard-to-capture conditions.
“The way that we have built the device is – When I talk about the rear camera with 200-megapixel adaptive pixel technology. It is a giant leap for a consumer…The camera is intelligent enough to decide whether I should shoot in 12MP, 50MP or 200MP. Now that is a big improvement as a consumer because I don’t know that this shoot will not come good in this kind of lighting. Two, what is changing at the OIS is that…you’re able to get much wider shots. Third, the way we have built the AI is very different…A lot of times, you would have clicked a picture and you would have realised that why is this light travelling. All those things have taken a giant leap and improvement,” he said.
