I turned a shed into a tiny house – people came for me when they saw my DIY but they need to chill, it’s all safe
A WOMAN has revealed how she transformed a shed into a tiny house – but not everyone was initially impressed with her DIY skills.
Annette, who posts under the handle @heavenly_threads, took to TikTok to share the journey of how she and her parents converted a 12 x 24 shed into a titchy home for her.

“We had to put new pipes and new wiring just to get it all connected.
“It wasn’t that bad – just a bit of digging.”
Annette continues: “Next, we cut out the frames of the door and all the windows and after that we started putting up some dry wall.”
She then goes onto say how her dad finished the plumbing for the bathroom, before rolling out the flooring.
In a second clip, the DIY fan can be seen taking social media users on a tour of her completed tiny home.
She begins with the living room, which features cream walls, a patterned rug and wall-mounted TV, before revealing her bed.

Annette then moves into the kitchen.
“I have an Air Fryer, microwave and a toaster oven and I can use these to make my lunches for work,” she says.
“I’m in love with the way it looks and thank y’all for coming on this journey with me.”
The videos have racked up over 1.2 million views and hundreds of comments – but everyone seemed to be concerned about one thing.
“No insulation?” asked one.
A second noted: “Definitely need it. Hot or cold!!”
In response, Annette confirmed: “Insulation went in people, chill.”
Elsewhere, others praised the TikToker for her impressive DIY skills.
“Omg! It’s sooo cute!!!” enthused one.
A second commented: “Best of all NO RENT!!”
A third praised: “I have followed the progress from the beginning! Love your tiny house.”
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: “It’s super cute! Congratulations on your new tiny home!!!”
Another wrote: “Beautiful!!”
A further commended: “This is awesome!”
And one more added: “Looks so cosy and beautiful.”
