The Tineco Pure ONE S15 PRO Smart Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner is a smart bit of kit.
It has a number of handy features that make it a true rival to leading Sharks and Dysons you can buy.
It’s powerful enough for the toughest vacuuming jobs and can be turned down to preserve battery life.
Plus, it’s easy to use: its anti-hair wrap technology works well and it can be emptied without getting your hands dirty: a feature we haven’t seen elsewhere yet.
On top of that, the HEPA filter means this vacuum should boast good anti-allergen qualities.
While there’s plenty in the ‘plus’ column for the Tineco Pure ONE S15 PRO Smart Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner, the main con is the price: £599 is a lot to spend on a vacuum cleaner, no matter how good it is.

The cordless stick vacuum cleaner market is more crowded than ever and a brand we’d yet to kick the tyres on is Tineco.
Tineco is the cleaning arm of Chinese robotics company Ecovacs and it made its first smart vacuum in 2019.
At the time of writing, the Tineco Pure ONE S15 PRO is its flagship cordless stick vacuum (or at least, its the most expensive option on the website!).
But, despite not being around for long, we couldn’t find too many teething troubles with this cordless vacuum.
First impressions
As it should be, it was easy to get our heads around from the get go.
The only thing we struggled to work out initially was the charging mechanism; it charges while being docked on its stand, without having to plug a wire into the battery, which is unusual but not problematic.
Speaking of the stand, it’s a neat idea, allowing you to stand and store the Tineco without a wall mount. However, it does have a rather large footprint, so it’s not the most space-efficient option. If you can only store your vacuum cleaner in a crowded cupboard, this isn’t ideal.
Cleaning

Once you start vacuuming with the Tineco, it’s very good. You can choose between your power settings depending on the surface you’re cleaning and the amount of dirt you need rid of. But you can also select ‘auto mode’ which recognises surfaces and the amount that needs cleaning and adjusts suction accordingly.
It has a nice feature wherein the digital display lights up red when it detects debris, then changes to blue once the area has been cleaned.
When used on its lowest power setting, the Tineco is very efficient and we found it would last upwards of 30 minutes on a single charge, which is pretty good going. However, that number decreases significantly when used on higher settings.
The Tineco is light and manoeuvrable and, in terms of ease of use, we’ve got no complaints.
The HEPA filter means if people in your home are sensitive to allergens, this vacuum should be one of the better options around for not triggering reactions.
And, once the dustbin is full, Tineco has come up with a clever mechanism to empty it without having to reach inside and scoop out whatever you’ve picked up, which is a nice touch.
Anti-hair-wrap is fast becoming a standard feature for cordless vacuums and Tineco’s works as well as any we’ve tested. After a couple of months of use, our roller head remains hair free.

As standard, you get a crevice tool, a mini power brush and a 2-in-1 dust brush to get into every nook and cranny of your home.

There’s no doubt that the Tineco Pure ONE S15 PRO is a great cordless vacuum cleaner.
It’s powerful, easy to use and has a number of nifty features.
The only drawback is the price, which might well put you off.
But if you want great performance and you fall in love with the style and features of the Tineco, you might well view it as money well spent.
