Paul Rudd Reveals How Sexiest Man Alive Chris Evans Responded to His Advice After He Won the Title
If anyone knows what it’s like to be named the Sexiest Man Alive, it’s Paul Rudd.
After all, the 53-year-old Ant-Man actor was awarded the title by People in 2021. He ceded it to fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe star Chris Evans in 2022.
Paul revealed that he reached out to Chris with some advice after he won the honor. He also shared his former co-star’s funny reaction to the words of wisdom.

The actor told People that he reached out to congratulate Chris in a fantasy football thread that included several other “Sexy Men.” He described the moment as a “passing of the torch.”
Then came the advice and an offer for even more: “I absolutely said, ‘Look, here’s the deal, Chris. This comes with a lot of responsibility,” he joked. “If you want to sit down and maybe have like, we’ll probably need to spend the day, it’s going to take hours, because there’s a lot you have to live up to and there’s a lot expected of you. And if you want to have like a real strategy session or what it’s been like and what’s required, I’m available. And I gave him a series of days.”
It sounds like Chris didn’t take Paul up on the offer.
“Yeah, he’s never returned one text,” he admitted, adding that Chris was “absolutely busy” with Sexiest Man Alive duties.
