I put tape on my face to look younger in seconds – trolls say it’s fake but it’s all me
A PENNY-SAVING woman has been trolled for faking a facelift, but she claims her cheap hack is real and it’s saved her thousands.
TikTok user Chloe Waterz has dedicated her social media page to her clever face taping technique.
She claims her easy trick takes years off her age without going under the knife for plastic surgery.
The star has over a million followers on TikTok, but not all of them are convinced she’s being truthful.
In a recent clip – seen by a whopping 15 million people – Chloe shows viewers how to banish sagging skin and wrinkles in a matter of seconds.
Using strange ‘backwards’ language, Chloe explains: “This is me facing my tape so I look younger in seconds.”
Chloe is seen relaxing in her hot tub at home, wearing an orange swimsuit and a statement gold necklace.
Her hair is swept back into a neat bun to give viewers a clear view of her face.
Chloe is make-up free to emphasise the full effect of her taping method.
The star puts a small strip of tape on each end of what looks like a little black wire.
She wraps it around her head so that the tape sits on each cheek.
Chloe presses the tape down onto her skin and smooths her fingers backwards towards her ears.
When she lets go, her face looks completely different.
Speaking over the clip, Chloe adds: “People say it’s fake or it’s my mum but it’s me.”
As the video shows Chloe applying the tape, she says excitedly: “Look at this, oh in real time, that’s how you do it.”
Over 2,000 people have commented on the video and they’ve all slammed her hack.
“Suddenly her grey hair disappeared,” remarked one eagle-eyed viewer.
“False, it’s a filter,” declared a second.
“You need to go live and do this,” demanded a third.
“It’s me again and I still can’t believe you,” replied a fourth loyal follower.
Thankfully, not everyone was so cruel and others gushed over Chloe’s transformation.
Some even claimed it made her look decades younger.
“Wow, you’re beautiful,” exclaimed one woman.
“40 to 25,” chimed another.
Chloe’s TikTok page is bursting full of her face tape videos. She shows her followers how and where to put the tape for the best youthful results.
But along with her face tape hack, she also posts make-up tutorials including how to be a catfish using just a few cosmetics.
Chloe tells followers to blend up, not down, to shave years off your face.
She also suggests using a pencil to create thicker eyebrows and lifting your eyes with liquid liner.
