Wildcats fall 5-1 to 1st place Remparts
The No. #1 overall Remparts trailed the Wildcats 1-0 after the first period after Oscar Plandowski's 4th of the season but the last forty minutes belonged to Quebec.
The Patrick Roy-coached squad popped in 3 second period goals in a 61-second span and never looked back. It was Quebec's 40th win of the season while the Wildcats fall a game under .500 with their sixth straight setback.
The Remparts fired 35 shots at Jacob Steinman with William Rousseau handling 29 from the Moncton shooters.
The Cats played without forwards Alexis Daniel, Yoan Loshing, Alex Mercier and Thomas Auger, who left the game with an upper body injury after the first period.
