NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm system moves offshore tomorrow, snow showers
will continue for many in the interior Northeast, with
minor accumulations likely. Frather south in the Mid-
Atlantic, rain is expected. Meanwhile, a developing storm
system is expected to bring sleet and freezing rain to a
wide swath of the south-central United States, including
Oklahoma and the northern half of Texas. Cities such as
Dallas and even Austin may be included, with icy conditions
likely. Plain rain is likely farther south, with a rumble
of thunder possible along the Gulf Coast. In the northern
Plains, well below average temperatures will be in place,
with highs below 0 for much of the Dakotas and Minnesota,
and lows below -30 degrees near the Canada border.
