Traveller shares clever hack for keeping your hotel room dark while you sleep – and all you need is a coat hanger
A TRAVEL expert has shared her genius hack for keeping your hotel room dark while you sleep.
Travel writer Amanda Finnegan said she uses a clever trick to block light out while she’s away from home.
Amanda has found an inventive use for a coat hanger in her hotel room[/caption]Amanda showed her fans how she uses the crocodile clips on a hotel coat hanger to fasten the curtains in her room together.
This simple hack blocks out all the light which would normally slip through the tiny gap between the curtains.
Amanda said: “If you don’t know this hotel-room hack, then you aren’t as crazy about light leakage as I am.”

Amanda’s hack comes after travel expert Susan Bugg revealed that she always brings her own teabags when she stays in a hotel.
But Susan also says that when a hotel offers designer teabags, she stuffs them in her suitcase.
