Carol Kirkwood replaced on BBC Breakfast in surprising presenter shake up
BBC Breakfast had a huge presenter shake-up on today’s show as Carol Kirkwood was nowhere to be seen.
The programme’s weather section is usually presented by bubbly Carol Kirkwood and she is often substituted by her deputy Matt Taylor on Fridays.

Sarah delivered the weather report to viewers at home which they labelled a nice change despite her promising chilly temperatures were set to stick around.
With Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt in their usual seats on the red sofa, fans took to Twitter to express their delight at Sarah’s appearance on the BBC One show.
One fan said: “Looking lovely Sarah. Thanks for the weather report!”
While another penned: “Morning Sarah. Happy Friday!”
Keen to impress fans and followers alike, Sarah even gave a further weather update on her own Twitter account.
The budding star was sure to plug her appearance on the breakfast show as she wrote: “Good morning. A quiet day weather-wise for most.
“You may be lucky enough to see a few glimpses of sunshine but there’s generally a lot of cloud. I’ll have more details on@BBCBreakfast.”
It comes after fans were left dazzled by Carol as she stunned fans earlier this week in a low-cut dress.
The star wore brown long sleeved dress with white spots on it, and the garment featured a V-neckline.
Carol had her blonde hair styled in loose waves and she received plenty of compliments on social media from her fans.
One wrote: “Morning Carol. Looking gorgeous. You do your own hair every morning. It wonderful.”
