Australia 1 Denmark 0 LIVE SCORE: Leckie puts Socceroos ahead as Australia into last-16 as it stands
AUSTRALIA have taken the lead against Denmark, and are currently advancing to the last-16 as it stands.
Riley McGree tested Kasper Schmeichel in the first-half but neither side had broken the deadlock going into half-time.
The Socceroos started the better in the second-half as Jackson Irvine fired over the bar from inside the box.
Matthew Leckie opened the scoring just moments after Tunisia went 1-0 up against France, meaning that the Socceroos are through to the last-16 as it stands.
Denmark thought they were awarded a penalty in the 72nd minute after the referee pointed to the spot, however the flag went straight up and this was denied for offside.
