The Traitor fans left open-mouthed by Claudia Winkleman’s ‘savage’ transformation on new reality show
THE Traitor fans have been left stunned by Claudia Winkleman’s “savage” transformation on a new reality show.
The TV star is the host of the BBC’s latest gameshow which sees contestants compete in a murder mystery competition where they compete in challenges and secretly murder their rivals.
Claudia welcomed 22 contestants on the networks new show, The Traitors, which sees players work together to complete in difficult challenges that add to their prize fund.
But by night, a group chosen as the Traitors try to kill off one of the other group, the Faithful, each evening.
The hopefuls were welcomed to a castle in the Scottish Highlands, where Claudia asked them to line-up in order or who is most likely to win or lose the competition.
Then in a shocking revelation, she told the weakest two that if “you think you’re going to lose, I’m going to take you at your word,” before sending them home before they even had a chance to go into the castle.

“I’d like you to leave the grounds immediately,” she added, “it’s called the traitors.”
Player Theo was heard saying: “Claudia is a complete and utter savage. I know she’s an icon and all but she is not playing.”
Viewers were loving Claudia’s “villain” persona on the new BBC show, and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “Claudia Winkleman, what a savage, I love it!”

This comes after The Traitors viewers were horrified at the “savage” twist just minutes into the new show.
The Traitors continues Wednesday at 9.15 and Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.
