Two Men In A Tent viewers spot ‘clue’ that Freddie Flintoff and Jason Manford ‘faked’ camping on cliff top
TWO Men In A Tent viewers are convinced they’ve spotted a ‘clue’ that Freddie Flintoff and Jason Manford ‘faked’ sleeping on a cliff edge.
The brand new ITV series started last night which sees Top Gear star Freddie and comedian Jason take on an adventure in Snowdonia.
It sees the pair head from the coast of North Wales to the summit of Snowdon trekking and wild camping along the way as the boys get back to nature and get to know each other better.
During their adventure viewers will see Jason and Freddie catching their own lobsters and herding sheep in the Welsh hills.
The pair will also have to forage for vegetables, wild swim in freezing temperatures and eventually climb Wales’s highest peak.
Tuesday night’s episode saw them both camp on a cliff ledge suspended 20 metres above crashing waves.
Jason and Freddie had to batten down the hatches and sleep there overnight.
However, viewers aren’t convinced the stars actually slept there at all – pointing out there was no footage of them during the night.
Taking to social media, one said: “With no footage from the night time I don’t believe they actually camped off the cliff.”
In reply to one fan’s question on Twitter, Jason, 41, did admit he had to call it ‘quits’ while sleeping above the sea.
“Please tell me there are harnesses attached to you whilst you sleep?” asked a viewer.
Manford replied: “So yeah you have to keep your harness on all night which is well uncomfy!
“I got to about 6am and called it quits, got back up and slept for couple of hours in the van. @flintoff11 had a lie in! Slept in till 9!! Nutter.”
