My wife wanted to wear a pink dress to my cousin’s wedding but I think it’s definitely bridal – and people are divided
TRYING to find an outfit to wear at a wedding can be tricky particularly when you face a race against time.
But, a husband claimed his wife Amy couldn’t find a moment in her day to go dress shopping so she suggested wearing the same bridal outfit to his cousin’s nuptials.

He said: “I just don’t think you should wear your wedding dress to another wedding, regardless of if it’s white or not?”
He revealed that Amy got upset when he told her his opinion and she accused him of being “controlling”.
She believed that her dress should be “reused” instead of collecting dust in the closet.
In the post, the husband shared an image of a model wearing a bridal dress that’s of a similar color.
The idea of Amy wearing her wedding dress to the ceremony has left Redditors divided.
Critics have accused of her being ignorant of “basic etiquette”, while others have claimed she’s trying to overshadow the day.
One said: “Her insistence on wearing her wedding dress to someone else’s wedding is not just ignorant of basic etiquette but indicative of something more.”
And, another claimed that her pink dress looked like a wedding dress.
Social media users were not convinced by Amy’s claims that the outfit wasn’t a traditional wedding dress.
One said: “Amy wore it as a wedding dress and so everyone who attended their wedding associates the dress as a wedding dress and should not be worn to another wedding.”
And another commented: “It’s a wedding dress even if the color is nontraditional most of the family will know it’s a wedding dress. The audacity is astounding with this one.”
Meanwhile, a bride revealed that her husband sported a black t-shirt, sweatpants, and white sneakers at their wedding, leaving social media users incensed.
One wrote: “It’s like if you’re going to a costume party and one person wears a full costume and the other does nothing.
“Like it’s fine to hate dressing up or couple’s costumes or whatever, but you have to meet people halfway sometimes.
“A $20 white shirt and borrowed/thrifted suit trousers is the absolute least he can do.”
Another spectator said: “Her dress and hair took actual effort. The groom just threw something on with zero thought or effort.
“It definitely screams ‘I don’t want to be here.'”
A third person chimed in: “It all boils down to effort… Clearly, the groom couldn’t be bothered to show any more effort than showing up…”
The US Sun revealed how one person slammed a bride and groom after their wedding invitation stated that guests were required to pay for their meal.
