Lidl launches huge Christmas toy sale including Barbie and Peppa Pig – prices start from just £1.69
LIDL has launched a giant toy sale just in time for Christmas and products start from as little as £1.69.
The German discounter is selling everything from magnetic drawing boards to a Barbie Dream Camper this year.
There’s a Mattel Hot Wheels Car Assortment toy for £1.69, Peppa Pig Cuckoo Clock or Toy Camera for £12.99 and a Bayer Piccolina First Words Baby for £14.99.
Plus, shoppers can get a Care Bear for £14.99 and Electric Drum Kit for £49.99.
Of course, you should always remember to look around for the best deals as you might find something cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like trolley.co.uk can be useful for food shopping while Latest Deals shares what discounts customers can get at a range of retailers.

We checked online to see how much some of the toys were selling for at other retailers and found them cheaper in some cases.
For example, Wilko was selling the Peppa Pig Toy Camera for £11.25, £1.74 cheaper than Lidl.

Motor-lovers will be a fan of this toy – but they’ll have to be at least three years old.

You can choose from three different designs and play or collect them.
They cost £1.69 per toy but you’ll have to be quick as stocks are limited.
We looked online to see how much other retailers were selling the Hot Wheels toy for.
Argos was selling a pack of nine for £9 – that’s £1 per toy and 69p cheaper per toy than Lidl.
Or you can buy two packs for £15 and get an even cheaper deal than Lidl.
Lidl was cheaper than Halfords though, which was selling the cars for £1.99 each.

What kid doesn’t love a toy? This 14 inch care bear is perfect for younger toddlers.
It comes in at £14.99 and again, stocks are limited.
When we looked online we found it cheaper at one other retailer – Booghe, which was selling the teddy for £12.86 down from £16.99.
John Lewis was selling the same product for £19.99 while Lennies Toys was selling one for £16.00.

This electronic drum kit is selling for £49.99 and comes with a three-year warranty.
It features six touch-sensitive pads including snare, hi-hat, high tom tom, crash cymbal and ride cymbal as well as foot pedals for the bass drum and hi-hat.
Plus, two drum sticks are included in the price and it’s mains operated so you won’t need batteries.
We checked out some other small-scale electronic drum kits online and found one on sale for £49.99 at Robert Dyas.
That only came with a one-year warranty though.
The Lidl toy sale runs until stocks are finished[/caption]Barbie Dream Camper – £59.99
This toy comes with a two-year warranty and can extend out into a 60cm long glamping playset.
It comes with 50 separate accessories as well – but it means it’s only recommended for children aged three and over.
We checked out some similar products online and couldn’t find anything cheaper.
WHSmith was selling a similar model for £81.89 while Boots was stocking one for £94.99.
Lidl is selling this First Words Baby doll for £14.99[/caption]Bayer Piccolina First Words Baby – £14.99
Ideal for any child who wants to play parent, this toy is on sale for £14.99.
The doll babbles, giggles, laughs, cries and says mummy and daddy when you press on her belly. All in all it comes with 24 baby sounds.
It’s recommended for children 10 months and older, comes with a two-year warranty and you can choose from two different styles.
When we looked online eBay was selling the same model doll for £16.99.
Clementoni Magnetic Drawing Board – £9.99
This drawing board is selling for £9.99 and comes with a minimum age recommendation of four years and older.
It also comes with an eraser so it can be used multiple times and is small enough to take travelling.
Plus, you can choose from three themes including Minni, Frozen or Paw Patrol.
We looked online to see what other retailers were selling the board for and Smyths Toys was stocking one for £12.99 to be collected in-store.
There were lots of other similar-styled products for less than £9.99 as well so if you’re not set on the Clementoni style you can save some money.
Peppa Pig Cuckoo Clock or Toy Camera – £12.99
Peppa Pig fans can bag a Cuckoo Clock or Toy Camera for £12.99.
Both toys come with a minimum age recommendation of 18 months.
The clock is designed in the style of Peppa’s ‘Little House on The Hill’ while the camera features camera clicks and Peppa sounds.
We looked online and found the Toy Camera cheaper at Wilko’s though – it was £11.25 there.

The Range and Smyths Toys were both selling the Cuckoo Clock for £12.99 so the same as Lidl.
If you want the Cuckoo Clock delivered to your home you’ll have to pay a fee though.
