I’m a Celeb hit with ‘fix’ claims from angry viewers who slam final two result
SOME I’m A Celeb fans are unhappy about the campmates who made the final two – and they haven’t been shy in complaining.
A few gloomy viewers couldn’t bring themselves to congratulate winner Jill Scott or runner up Owen Warner after 12 million people voted.
Dozens took to Twitter to moan about the results after one campmate stood out in the show’s gruelling Bushtucker trials.
One person tweeted after former footballer Jill, 35, was crowned Queen of the jungle: “I’m a celebrity is a fix how did Matt not win he’s been brilliant.”
A second wrote: “We all know matt got more votes than Owen. Itv tryna fix votes.”
And a third agreed with the tweet, adding: “Well said. And agreed on #ImACelebrity fix votes.”

However, the tweet kicked off a debate and another fan replied: “How do you know do you count the votes?”
One delighted viewer said: “Nope, he’s third and that’s that.”
Former England footballer Jill nabbed over five million votes after winning over the public with her charm and jovial spirit during the three weeks in camp.

Hollyoaks star Owen, who placed second, racked up over three million votes and disgraced MP Matt Hancock, who placed third, achieved over two million.
Former health secretary Matt will now return to face angry colleagues, constituents and questions about his political future in Westminster after coming third on I’m A Celeb.
The West Suffolk MP surpassed the expectations of many by reaching the final but came behind the winner, Euro 2022 champion Jill Scott, and Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner in a public vote on Sunday night.
His 18 days in the Australian jungle has seen him suspended from the Conservative parliamentary party and criticised by colleagues including Rishi Sunak.
The Prime Minister said he was “very disappointed” in his colleague’s decision to leave behind his constituents to appear on the reality show more than 10,000 miles away.
Campaigners from the Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice group also criticised his appearance, for which he was paid a fee of £400,000.
