She said that instead of buying thin tops that have large textured lines, you should “go for a simple bodysuit that has a lining that will last you for years in your wardrobe.”
If you’re not a fan of bodysuits, the fashionista recommended buying a classic long-sleeve shirt with ribbing and buttons down the front.
Moving on to sweaters, Kenzie said to keep printed styles at a minimum.

Instead, go for basic knits that “you will be able to easily mix and match with other items in your wardrobe.”
When it comes to jackets, the stylist advised staying away from teddy coats, as they have a tendency to get matted over time.
Jackets that have stretchy fabric will eventually loose their structure, so instead, you should opt for coats that feel expensive.
“You’ll find it’s easier to pair them with styles in your wardrobe, and you’ll own them for many years,” Kenzie explained.

Finally, she suggested that instead of going for bright-colored flannels, you should opt for solid neutral-colored shackets.
