John Rhys Plumlee will lead the UCF Knights (8-2) into their matchup against the Navy Midshipmen (3-7) at FBC Mortgage Stadium on Saturday at 11:00 AM ET.
The Knights enter the matchup after winning 38-31 over the Tulane Green Wave in their last game on November 12. Last time out, the Midshipmen were defeated by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 35-32. Against the Green Wave, Plumlee led the Knights with 132 yards on 17-of-30 passing (56.7%) for one touchdown and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 18 times for 176 yards and two rushing touchdowns. RJ Harvey took 12 carries for 83 yards (6.9 yards per carry), while adding one reception for one yard in the passing game. Javon Baker had 54 yards on five catches (10.8 per reception) with one touchdown in that game. Xavier Arline recorded 57 passing yards while going 2-for-4 with one touchdown and no interceptions for the Midshipmen against the Fighting Irish. He added 12 carries for 59 yards and one touchdown. Dabe Fofana carried the ball 15 times for 133 yards (8.9 yards per attempt) with one touchdown. Mark Walker collected three catches for 67 yards (on five targets), with one touchdown.
