November 14 was the birthday of King Charles III – his first since becoming the reigning monarch.
With no formal engagements planned, the King was said to have celebrated privately.
Whether he, like Queen Elizabeth II, will also celebrate his birthday in the spring or summer remains to be seen. However, as it is a long-standing tradition, it seems likely that he will.
The Royal Family released an official photograph to mark the King’s birthday, depicting the King reclining against an ancient tree.
It also announced his newly appointed role of Park Ranger of Windsor Great Park – a position his father was welcomed to 70 years to the day – which was put out on the Royal Family’s official Instagram.
Of course other members of the Firm are also on the social media platform – but how do you follow them on there?
