WATCH out for a Twitter label that reveals whether you’re actually talking to a bot.
Twitter’s famous blue tick has been available to people who are willing to pay since a few months prior to the Elon Musk takeover -but this has left users confused over which accounts are real. This account has an “Automated” label[/caption] The labels were reportedly available before Elon Musk took over Twitter[/caption]
The automated bot label appears next to accounts that are “automated” – and operated by other Twitter users.
If you click on the user profile, the label also highlights which username is running the account.
The label simply states “Automated by” and features a robot emoji and the username behind the account.
It helps to clear up confusion over some automated accounts – although not all bots will be flagged.
