I’m a size 16 and hit Zara for some winter clothes – one made me look like a potato & I couldn’t lift my arms in another
SHE’S a size 16, but thought she’d try her luck finding some winter clothes in her local Zara.
But Samantha had varying levels of success in the store, and documented the process in a video on her TikTok page.
Samantha went to Zara to try on some winter clothes, but felt this teddy jumper made her look like a “gone off fluffy potato”[/caption]“Come with me to try and shop in Zara as a size 14 to 16,” Samantha said.
She began her try-on with a khaki jumper in a size large – which she said was a “great fit”.
The next one wasn’t as much of a hit, as Samantha tried on a cream sweatshirt in an extra large.
“This sweater – terrible shape, terrible cut, tight around the hips,” she sighed.

A knitted jumper she tried on next ticked all the boxes, as Samantha noted it would be perfect for “apple shape” women because of the cut on the stomach.
Moving onto jackets, she tried on a faux leather aviator style one, which she “loved”, but couldn’t lift her arms above her shoulders while wearing it.
“It’s a no from me,” she said.
Next up was a cute teddy longline jumper – “perfect length, super comfortable, fabric is amazing”, she said.

But she added: “It’s just got no shape at all to it – made me look like a gone off fluffy potato.”
Samantha concluded her changing room session with a beige shacket.
“If you’re a curvy girl, this is a staple,” she said.
“£33 for this shacket and honestly, I got the cream one last year and it’s my go to. You can shove it on over anything, looks cute – love it.”
“Not the worst hour’s shopping I’ve had – didn’t cry so we’re winning,” she said at the end of her video.

“The Shacket was best,” one person commented.
To which Samantha replied: “Yep! That’s what I went home with.”
