DEAR DEIDRE: I’D hoped that when my boyfriend moved in with me, he’d learn how to cook and clean for himself.
Instead, he just expects me to pick up after him as his mum did for years.

He’s 26, I’m 28 and we’ve been together for three years.
Before we’d met, he’d never lived away from home, and so was used to his mum or older sister waiting on him hand and foot.
He almost bragged about the fact that he’d never changed his own bedsheets.
Since he moved in with me in March, he’s done absolutely nothing to help.
He just leaves his dirty plates in the sink and the bins are always full.
