Bloodlands viewers rip into ‘disturbing’ James Nesbitt sex scene as ‘worst thing on TV in years’
BLOODLANDS viewers were left seriously disgusted during the latest episode of the hit show.
The BBC drama starring James Nesbitt has proven to be a fan favourite and is currently in its second season.
Viewers were disgusted at James’ sex scene[/caption] The drama has thrown up many interesting talking points[/caption]But viewers were less than impressed at a certain raunchy sex scene which aired as part of the latest episode of the show.
Fans of the show branded it ‘disturbing’ as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One disgruntled viewer slammed James Nesbitt and his characters as she wrote: “Does James Nesbitt ever keep his penis in his pants???? #Bloodlands”
Another echoed similar thoughts, writing: “Christ, that has to be the most unsexy sex scene I’ve ever seen on film #Bloodlands”

A third fumed at James’ portryal of the scene adding: “Watching #JamesNesbitt go from intense scowl to sex face with #VictoriaSmurfitt must be one of the most disturbing scenes on TV in recent years.
“I’m surprised there’s wasn’t a BBC ActionLine message at the end to cope with that climax #Bloodlands.”
Another fan appeared to insinuate that James needed better career direction as they shared a picture of James on the mobile phone before writing: “Hello? Is this my agent? It’s James Nesbit… Hello? Hello? Is there anybody there? #Bloodlands.”
The returning BBC One drama is set in Northern Ireland and stars Victoria Smurfitt alongside Cold Feet star James.
