Comedy Central has released a new statement about the search for a new host and the network hinted at who could possibly get the job!

Sources confirmed to THR that The Daily Show will remain on Comedy Central instead of moving to Paramount+ and the network commented on who might be the new host.
“In time, we will turn to the next chapter of The Daily Show and all of our incredible correspondents will be at the top of that list. Until then, we are focused on celebrating Trevor and thanking him for his many contributions,” a spokesperson told the outlet.
THR notes that the correspondent lineup currently includes Desi Lydic, Roy Wood Jr., Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, and Dulcé Sloan.
