If you don’t know, the 62-year-old disgraced celebrity chef was first publicly accused of sexual misconduct in 2017. Years later, he was eventually charged with indecent assault and battery after he was accused of aggressively kissing and groping a woman while they took a selfie. He ended up being found not guilty in that case.

TRIGGER WARNING: Sexual assault.
Eva DeVirgilis was a former employee of Batali’s at his restaurant Babbo.
Eva said that one night, in 2005, he allegedly took her to the gastro pub, The Spotted Pig, where Batali was an investor. In the limo ride over, he allegedly plied her with alcohol.
“I was so naïve,” she said (via the New York Times). “I knew not to walk across Central Park at night or to be alone in a stairwell. I didn’t know I should be afraid of my millionaire celebrity boss in a public place.”
Eva says she woke up the following morning on the floor of a private room in the pub and allegedly found scratches on her body and semen on her clothing.
Eva also added that she allegedly remembers Batali kissing her and throwing up in the bathroom with him behind her.
You can watch Eva‘s full account of the story in the documentary, airing tomorrow.
