MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly suffered a blow in their pursuit of Ajax ace Antony.
The Red Devils are eager to bring the winger to Old Trafford before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.

Antony scored a remarkable solo goal in Ajax’s 6-1 demolition of Groningen and insists he’s not thinking about a move away from Amsterdam.
He said: “I’m focused on here. What will come will come, we’ll see.
“I feel good at Ajax. I give everything for this club, every minute. So I am loving this city and this club.”

United, who are currently ROCK BOTTOM of the Premier League, have only made three signings so far this summer.
Christian Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Lopez have all arrived at Old Trafford but Ten Hag is eager to further strengthen his squad.
The Dutchman said: “We signed Eriksen for the midfield department. We are really happy with that.
“Yes, I am really happy with the performance from our midfield and offence department in this moment.
“But I also know this season – we talk about it in Bangkok and Melbourne as well – is a lot of games, the World Cup, so we need more options where you have a good team.
“And it’s not only about the team, you need a good squad to get the right results at the end of the season.
