I’m an interior designer, the worst home trends of all time – and it’s bad news if you’ve got lino floor
THEY’RE things we’ve all seen in people’s houses over the years, but an interior designer has now lifted the lid on the worst home trends of all time. But are you guilty of any of them?
Kate Kerdi, a virtual interior designer who can be found on TikTok at @katekerdiinteriors, took to the social media platform to share her thoughts on the furnishing failures.
In a video titled “the worst interior design trends of all time”, Kate explained she’d rather see the back of many trends that have become popular over time.
And it’s bad news if you’ve got lino flooring anywhere in your home, as that comes out as number one on the list.
Following closely behind are round beds in the bedroom, while animal print overload is in third position.
In fourth position is the famous avocado green bathroom that has been the butt of many jokes over the years.

Carpeted walls, or rugs on the walls as a display, don’t come out favourably either.
The next thing on Kate’s hate list was a layered false ceiling, as she showed an image of a panelled ceiling.
Finally, the interior design expert says she’s not a fan of “old fashioned” heavy drapery anywhere in the home.
But it seems Kate’s followers were torn with her analysis, as the video received hundreds of comments.
