BRITAIN is a nation of fibbers, a survey suggests — typically telling up to five lies a day.
They range from exaggerating our salaries to pretending we are too skint to buy a round.
A survey reveals that Londoners typically tell up to five lies a day while those in Sheffield are the most honest with an average of twice a day[/caption]People in London are the most likely to tell porkies — coming up with five whoppers a day.
Those in Sheffield claim to be the most honest but still fib an average of twice a day.

A similar proportion say that avoiding white lies is better for relationships.
And more than half of us say we always prefer being told the truth.
