Alec Baldwin sparks fury for supporting ‘drink-drive’ actress Anne Heche telling fans to send ‘their love’
FILM star Alec Baldwin has been slammed for supporting actress Anne Heche — accused of crashing into a house while drink-driving.
Baldwin, 64, urged fans on Instagram to “send their love” to “this amazingly talented woman”.
It comes as Heche was accused of crashing into a house while drink-driving[/caption]But one woman replied: “What about the people she almost killed?”
Another tweeted: “She needs counselling.”
Heche, who has starred with Baldwin on Broadway and in 1996 thriller The Juror, is accused of drinking vodka before Friday’s crash in LA.
She is said to be stable but severely burned after her car caught fire.

The homeowner was unhurt.
Heche, 53, dated chat host Ellen DeGeneres and actor James Tupper, who has a son, 13, with her.
He posted: “We love you.”
The Donnie Brasco actress allegedly crashed her Mini Cooper into a home on Friday, sparking a huge blaze.
Dramatic photos of the wreckage show her mangled vehicle being towed after she was dragged out of the flaming car by firefighters.
The 53-year-old was seen squirming in agony on a stretcher before she was rushed to hospital after the smash at around 11am.

The explosive incident, that left Anne fighting for life, occurred on Friday morning in the Mar Vista area of Los Angeles.
She has now been intubated in a nearby intensive care unit, but is “expected to pull through”, according to TMZ.
Law enforcement said Heche “suffered burns in the fire”, leaving her clothing and hair “charred”.
Anne and Ellen DeGeneres dated for three years from 1997 to 2000 and were one of the first openly gay couples in the mainstream.
They reportedly discussed getting a civil partnership with hopes it would become legal.
They split amicably and made the announcement together.
A day after the announcement, Anne appeared at a stranger’s front door, asking to use the shower and wear slippers.
The home owner let her in and shower, then called authorities.
Some of Anne’s most notable film credits include Six Days, Seven Nights, Donnie Brasco and the 1998 remake of Psycho.
