Alan Carr’s Epic Gameshow fans say the same thing as they slam latest episode
ALAN Carr’s Epic Gameshow fans have said the same thing as they slammed the latest episode.
The ITV show features a different game show every week, and Saturday’s was Strike it Lucky.
The show was originally hosted by Michael Barrymore from 1986 to 1999.
But this time, Alan presided over three pairs of celebrities; Kelvin Fletcher and his wife, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and his wife, and GMB stars Richard Arnold and Ranvir Singh.
Laurence and Jackie were the first to leave the competition, before Richard and Ranvir beat Kelvin and Liz to the final round.
But as the episode played out, some at home wished original host Michael, 70, was still in charge.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Don’t they read the reviews, no one is impressed. Get Barrymore back on TV for Strike it Lucky.”
Another added: “This is an insult to Michael Barrymore.”
A third tweeted: “#strikeitlucky, should only ever be done with @MrBarrymore, end of.”
However, others enjoyed the show, with one writing: “#StrikeItLucky [is] by far the best of the #EpicGameshow formats – just suits Alan Carr more than any other.”

A fellow fan added: “Love #epicgameshow. My son and I met @LlewelynBowen a few weeks ago at a different gameshow. Funny man.”
In the end, Ranvir and Richard decided to gamble the money they had won so far in the hope of winning the jackpot.
Thankfully, it was a risk that paid off, and they won the big money, and got £23,000 for their chosen charity.
