THE moment you find a pesky piece of colored clothing in your whites may have you feeling like there’s no coming back from the blunder.
Luckily, there’s a simple fix for when your whites appear to be ruined.
“This laundry hack just saved my favorite pile of white clothes. My mind is blown right now,” a woman named Cait Regan began in a video shared with her 13K TikTok followers.
Regan thought that all hope was lost when she accidentally washed her whites with a pair of blue jeans.
But thankfully, the laundry-savvy woman had a solution on hand.
“So I knew about these Shout Color Catcher Sheets for when you want to wash whites and darks or whites and colors together,” she said.

“But what I didn’t know is you could actually use these when you accidentally dye your clothes.
“Say you did a load of whites [and] there’s accidentally a pink shirt in there, [so] all of your clothes was turned pink.
“You could actually rewash that load of whites with a couple of these in the washing machine, and it takes the color out.”
She continued: “This is such a game changer for me.”

The best part is that Regan didn’t need the addition of bleach to get the job done.
“They’re back to perfection,” the overjoyed woman stated of her garments.
