NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms capable of causing flash flooding, damaging
winds and significant travel delays will develop tomorrow
afternoon from eastern Massachusetts through Connecticut,
New Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania, Maryland and
Delaware. Meanwhile, a tropical rainstorm will continue to
soak eastern Texas and western Louisiana. However, much of
the Southeast can expect a couple of thunderstorms during
the late-morning and afternoon hours. Afternoon storms will
form over the interior West, with the greatest concentration
in western and central portions of Colorado and New Mexico
as well as far southeastern Arizona. Locally strong
thunderstorms over eastern Montana and the western Dakotas
are expected late in the day and overnight. In the far West,
coastal areas from Washington to California should be dry.
