Massive clue Gemma Owen is feeling pressured by Luca after night in the Hideaway, says body language expert
LOVE Island power couple Gemma Owen and Luca Bish are moving at different paces in their relationship.
Not only is Luca keen to move things forward, he’s getting frustrated that Gemma is playing it more cool.
Body language expert Darren Stanton gave us the low down on what’s really going down between one of the most popular couples this year.
Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Darren reveals that Gemma and Luca are working on two different timelines.
“Gemma is the type of personality that likes to let things simmer and go at their own natural pace,” Darren explains.
“This is where issues between her and Luca tend to stem from, as he is the kind of guy who doesn’t want to wait and see how things develop, he wants the whole package from Gemma and he wants it now.”
Darren added: “We see his frustrations when he pushes Gemma to talk about her feelings towards him and she doesn’t respond in the way he wants.
“Doing so, inevitably leads to Gemma feeling pressured and we end up with this push, pull dynamic.”

The expert explains that mean Gemma is “pulling back from their relationship developing too fast while he is pushing forwards in the hope their romance will progress.”
Darren explains: “We see this when Luca goes to kiss Gemma and she pulls away, throwing her head back so she’s out of reach.
“Many times Gemma has laughed when doing this, but it’s not malicious, it’s out of nervousness as she isn’t someone who likes a partner being too full on.
“That said, she is continuing to slowly but surely open up more and more to Luca and we’re starting to see that she does have strong feelings for him.”
