Little People fans slam Tori and Zach Roloff for ‘bad’ parenting move with son Jackson, 5, during walk at local creek
LITTLE People Big World fans have slammed Tori and Zach Roloff for a “bad parenting” move in the latest episode.
The parents of three let their 5-year-old son, Jackson, stand on a rock in the middle of a creek while on a walk.

They got their boots on and went outside for some family time.
“There’s been a lot of rain in the area, so our creek is really flowing, so we’re going to go check it out,” Zach said in the episode.
They walked to the creek and Jackson asked if Tori would carry him there.

“Last week, the water was even higher,” Zach said while standing on the side of the creek.
Tori seemed shocked and said, “Really?”
She picked Jackson up and walked into the creek, placing him on the rock in the middle of the water.
After Tori found a shoe in the stream, she warned her young son, “If you fall in, I’m not coming in after you.”

He squatted down as Tori walked across the water, holding Lilah in her arms, and then walked to the other side, leaving her kid unattended.
Granted, she was heavily pregnant and could have been saying that to him so he was extra cautious, but fans on Reddit slammed her anyway.
SEVERE ANXIETY
One Reddit user posted a photo of the show at that scene and bashed the mother for not watching her kid.
“This show is giving me severe anxiety with every episode,” they captioned the post.
“Of course, she won’t go in after him because that means her gross a** will have to touch the water!” commented another fan.
One other fan was worried and wrote, “I think they’re trying to be so chill about raising these kids that someday they may regret it. I can just see one of those sweet little ones heading out to the ‘creek’ when the parents are distracted…”
A third slammed them saying, “Nothing like letting your kid with messed up legs stand on a sketchy rock/cement slab. With basically toilet waste running by. Parents of the year!”
“The creek also worries me because they are so little and the water can be very fast that they could get in trouble very quickly. It’s scary,” added another fan.
SHE’S PREGNANT!
While most fans were slamming the parents, others came to their defense with good reasons.
“Lol as if most parents haven’t said this s**t? Same with ‘if you break your arm I’m not taking you to the hospital’,” commented one Reddit user.
Many others wrote, “LOL you guys need to chill.”
A third chimed in with, “You can’t be hovering over your kids all the time. You need to teach them independence and to learn from their own mistakes. They were both standing right there.”
When a Reddit user said “of course, she won’t go in the water” another wrote, “She’s also freaking pregnant!”
She was heavily pregnant with their third child at the time.
“Omg we all know they would help their kids if they fell in,” one person reasoned.
BAD PARENTING!
This isn’t the first time LPBW fans have slammed the couple for bad parenting.
In the same episode, the family was putting together Lilah’s “big girl bed” as she transitioned out of her crib.
Zach and Tori were not paying attention to their children as they were preoccupied with assembling the bed.
As the parents put the bed together, Jackson picked up the metal ladder and put it in front of Lilah’s face telling her to “reach the ladder.”
He then laid back and accidentally whacked her in the head with it, which caused her to cry.
She was then seen playing with metal rods, screws, and scissors, after being told by her mom to “go over there.”
After watching the episode, Reddit fans criticized the parents for leaving the sharp objects around.
“I was like they need to get the baby away from choking hazards and make Jackson stop bullying her,” wrote one fan.
“Here Lilah! Play with these choking hazards near the scissors we left within your reach while we’re distracted and let Jackson hit you in the head and almost take out your eye with a metal pipe. —Your Oblivious Parents’,” said another.
SO SHARP!
That isn’t the first time that they have let their daughter handle scissors.
In an episode last month, Lilah was standing behind a baby gate sporting a maroon flower dress and matching glasses.
However, what the tot was holding sparked backlash from users who slammed her parents for letting her play with the “sharp” scissors.
“Let’s just hope there are no cuts with the scissors,” one person remarked.
“This is so uncomfortable. What if she runs and falls? There is no reason for her to hold scissors in the first place,” said another.
