Latest for @orlandosports on the Orlando Magic’s free agency: Mo Bamba, Gary Harris and what comes next orlandosentinel.com/sports/orlando… – 10:14 PM Keith Smith @KeithSmithNBA
Something to keep in mind with Gary Harris signing an extension vs new contract:
He’s immediately trade-eligible bc it’s an extension. No having to wait until December or January 15.
Not saying he will be traded, but great work by the Magic to give themselves that flexibility. – 9:10 PM Keith Smith @KeithSmithNBA
Bit of an oddity timing-wise with the Gary Harris extension:
We’re still technically in the 2021-22 league year, despite 2022-23 free agency negotiations being open. The two overlap.
That means Harris’ new deal with the Magic is actually an extension and is finalized and done. – 8:57 PM Cody Taylor @CodyTaylorNBA
The Magic announced that they have signed Gary Harris to a contract extension. It is a 2-year, $26 million pact, according to @Adrian Wojnarowski. – 8:55 PM Khobi Price @khobi_price

Gary Harris plans to re-sign with the Orlando Magic, I’m told. – 8:09 PM Ryan McDonald @ryanwmcdonald
Gary Harris? Delon Wright? Derrick Jones Jr.? A couple others who might be out of the Jazz’s price range like Bruce Brown? Kyle Anderson? Otto Porter Jr.? – 7:27 PM TJ McBride @TJMcBrideNBA
Tax-MLE targets left that I like for the Nuggets:
Donte Divincenzo
Bruce Brown
Delon Wright
Gary Harris – 7:23 PM Ryan Blackburn @NBABlackburn
Players the Nuggets could target that are still available and worth the taxpayer MLE (or more):
Delon Wright
Bruce Brown
Gary Payton II
Caleb Martin
Cody Martin
Derrick Jones Jr.
Gary Harris
Donte DiVincenzo
Target list is drying up. – 7:16 PM Jovan Buha @jovanbuha
Who could the Lakers sign in free agency tomorrow?
