In 2014, the UFC attempted to resurrect Carano’s fighting career by signing her to the organization and pitting her against rising star Ronda.
Terms were never agreed and Rousey has since gone on to leave MMA and become a women’s champion in WWE.
A return for either to the Octagon looked unlikely – until Rousey confirmed to Kurt Angle’s podcast that she would fight Carano “wherever she wants”.

Rousey said: “I will fight Gina wherever she wants.
“Even if she doesn’t want to forever, leave that offer there.
“It’s a respect thing, not like a, ‘f*** you. I’m coming to get you.’
“It’s just like, ‘Hey, if you ever wanna pull that card out, it’s there.’
“I love her. Thank you Gina for everything you’ve done.”
The respect between the two fighters appears to be mutual with Carano revealing she could take Rousey up on her offer.
She told Fox: “You know what? Just never put it past me.
“It could happen. It would be six months from now because I have a lot of stuff I need to do.
