Horse racing tips: Templegate’s 4-1 NAP can carry a light weight to victory at Hamilton
TEMPLEGATE takes on a Tuesday’s racing confident of bagging you a few winners as we build up to a massive weekend with the Coral-Eclipse.
Read on for our man’s top tips and don’t forget to back a horse by clicking their odds.
SIP AND SMILE (2.45 Hamilton, NAP)
He was undone by a muddling gallop at Doncaster last time. This should be a stiffer test of stamina and top jock William Buick has gone close to his minimum weight for the ride.
SHUT UP AND DANCE (3.00 Brighton, nb)
He has bagged back-to-back wins in little over a week and looks nicely treated under a 6lb penalty.
EDINBURGH ROCK (7.30 Chepstow, treble)
He is nicely bred and will relish the step up to a mile and a half on his handicap debut for his top yard.

2.45 HAMILTON
SIP AND SMILE can leave punters grinning in Hamilton’s 2.45.
He was crying out for a stiffer test of stamina when third at Doncaster last time. He should get that today and top jockey William Buick is an eye-catching booking.
Ghaly looks the main danger, though it will be a hell of a training performance from Saeed bin Suroor to get him back in peak form after 600 day off.
Fame And Acclaim arrives in winning form and looks sure to play a part, as does the fairly treated Empirestateofmind.
Cockalorum was second in the John Smith’s Cup off 1lb higher last summer and shaped well latest. He is interesting at a price.
Redarna goes well here but ran no race last time, while Bringitonboris has been running well but needs to pull out more to get involved.
Austrian Theory, Hortzadar and Summa Peto look up against it on current form.
