I’m a B&M fan and found the bargain of the day with a 10p teddy fleece sheet – but not everyone agrees
A B&M fan has gone viral after showing off a 10p teddy fleece sheet – but not everyone believes.
With Brits suffering through a cost-of-living crisis, which could last for more than another year, most of us are on the lookout for a good bargain.
One shopper claimed she had managed to find a 10p teddy fleece sheet[/caption]Along with customer favourites like Lidl and Aldi, B&M is the go-to for many who want to find a better deal that won’t rob the bank.
One shopper, Steph Bowman, got particularly lucky, as she managed to bag a white teddy fleece sheet for just a mere 10p.
Satisfied with the purchase, she then took it to the popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, where she shared an image of the product.
”#bargain of the day for the sister,” read the caption.

The fluffy fleece, which was adorably advertised as ”100% huggable”, had initially retailed for £9.
Then reduced to clear for more than half, at £4, the white sheet was afterwards sold at a mere 10p.
”It was the only one there so lucky find,” Steph continued in the comments.
But despite what she had claimed, some members of the group were quite sceptical.

One B&M said: ”Was on about this other day to a staff member and she was saying they work here and they never get anything like that.”
Another was suspicious that the shopper may have lied.

”All she has to do is put the receipts on to prove it .
”Personally never seen a receipt on here for a bargin like that [sic].”
A third also pointed out: ”since when did B&M use that sticker as a reduction sticker… never seen it before.”
”That’s so fake,” someone else laughed.
However, despite the controversy the blanked had caused, with some assuming she had made the story up, there were some who didn’t think it had been fabricated.
”I managed to get one too,” one supportive member claimed.

A second jumped in: ”they are the new stickers B&M are using for reduced stock, I have seen them in my local (not 10p baragains, but reductions) and I have friends and family who work for B&M, this picture is not fake.”
To prove that the sticker was indeed a new one, a fellow shopper also shared their find – and the sticker had the same design as the one Steph had posted earlier.
