I dressed up like Ryan Gosling playing Ken in new Barbie film – but people thought I looked like another famous face
HE’S got himself all dolled up for the upcoming Barbie movie.
But Ryan Gosling fans online are aghast at the bleach blond hair, stonewash double-denim and white boxers he wears to play boyfriend Ken.

I got done up the same way to hit London’s streets as a living doll and gauge reaction . . .
First up was a spray tan.
Next, I cut off the arms of a denim jacket and daubed “Ken” on my tightie-whities, then I was off for a wig and make-up — sneaky shadowing for a six-pack look.

All done, I was on my way.
As Ken would say: “Come on, Barbie, let’s go party!”
My first encounter was damning: “Oh my God, you look like Donald Trump!”
But then the party started. “It’s my idea of perfect,”

I was a hit with all ages, too. Aija Siitonen, 64, ignored her husband’s glower as she told me with a wink: “You pull it off better than Ryan.”
Andrew Foster, 66, waiting for a haircut in Borough Market, fancied copying my style.
He said: “It’s the only colour I’ve never been and it looks good. Quite Annie Lennox.”
But Josh, 30, chipped in: “It looks very fake — Californian.”
Next, I spoke to a trio of Love Island fans.
Molly Blay, 19, said: “Some boys on the show are a bit weird and would love this. It’s unique.”
Gabbi Wolfe said simply: “Bad!”

Despite people likening me to a Backstreet Boy, H from Steps, and Trump, London kind of liked my Ken look — and I did too.
