As a proud plus-size woman, social media star Brooklyn Dallen has got to a place where she’s comfortable wearing a two-piece on the beach.
The 24-year-old said people don’t understand how hard it is for fat people to just ‘exist’[/caption]But on a recent day out, the 24-year-old influencer – who boasts 163,000 TikTok followers for her body neutrality videos – was brutally fat-shamed by a group of total strangers.
In a viral video that’s racked up over 375,000 views, Brooklyn was minding her own business and filming herself apply suncream for an advert.
As she got the product out of her bag, someone off camera yelled at her: “You ain’t cute.”
Choosing to ignore them, Brooklyn started spraying the product on her arms and legs.

Determined to get a reaction out of Brooklyn, another troll yelled: “There’s no sun, there’s no need!”
“I think they’re screaming at you Brooklyn,” the star’s friend told her.

As Brooklyn laid the products out on the sand for a close-up, the group could be heard laughing and shouting: “You’re f***ing fat!”
Brooklyn wrote: “[Point of view]: You’re a fat person trying to exist.”
“Met some really sweet followers today,” she joked in the caption. “And y’all think fatphobia isn’t real!”
Needless to say, the video struck a chord with Brooklyn’s followers – who were disgusted by the trolls’ behaviour.
One replied: “This enrages me. What is wrong with people?”
“This actually breaks my heart,” another added. “That suit is stunning.”
