“Obviously the bus driver Richard Arlison (Richarlison) never turned up and now are they set to miss the final.”
The next image in the post retweeted by Richarlison read: “Meant to be picked up at 4pm at the rocket pub Liverpool by a coach catered by coach innovations , it’s now 22.30pm and still nothing.
“Trip to Paris ruined now off home instead, no communication from the company #LFC #ChampionsLeagueFinal.”
The next featured a screenshot of a supposed Mr. Richard Arlison as an “active person” within the company – while a fourth was an edited picture of a grinning Richarlison driving a bus.

The 25-year-old seemingly found the post so funny, that he decided to save the edited image of himself as a bus driver.
And when Liverpool lost to Madrid, he decided to post it to his own account.
Real Talk Manchester City had by this point revealed that the initial post was a hoax, writing: “I’m sorry to say, lads, it appears that we all got fooled It looks like 1) it wasn’t a joke set up by some Everton fans after all and 2) the bus driver isn’t named “Richard Arlison”.
“Would’ve been so cruel if it had turned out to be true but those guys did miss the game.”
Everton fans still loved Richarlison’s post, however, with one writing: “you are amazing”
While another added: “Richarlison has become a football Twitter legend ”
Although not all football fans backed the forward.
An Arsenal supporter online joked: “It’s like a homeless man laughing at a house owner because he lost his keys have some shame.”
