Loose Women fans furious as Janet Street Porter fat shames Wayne Rooney
LOOSE Women viewers were left furious today as Janet Street Porter ‘fat shamed’ Wayne Rooney.
The presenter, 75, was discussing the footballer’s recent court appearance as part of the ongoing Wagatha Christie trial – and said he was about to ‘explode’ out of his suit.
Wayne has been attending court with Coleen[/caption]Janet commented: “It’s become the battle of the blokes. Have you ever seen Wayne Rooney looking so smart?
“Wayne has been ordered by his wife to shape up, fit into that suit and my goodness it looks like he is about to explode out of it any minute.”
Those watching at home were unimpressed by her comments and took to Twitter to comment on it.
One person wrote: “Just turned on the tv abt to have my lunch break – loose women comes on with Janet street porter saying Wayne Rooneys about to explode out his suit – imagine if she was saying that about a woman? She’s vile tbh.”

While a third remarked: “@loosewomen fat shaming Wayne Rooney isn’t cool.”
Wayne has found himself dragged into the Wagatha battle after Coleen accused Rebekah, 39, of leaking stories to the press.
His court looks has sparked conversation over the last few days, with his look being compared to a geography teacher and people debating what he has been carrying in his man bag.

He told this week how he “didn’t want to get involved” but said the whole saga has been “really traumatic” for Coleen.
Wayne added: “I’ve watched my wife over the past two, two-and-a-half years, really struggle with everything that’s gone on… become a different mother, a different wife.
“Hopefully whatever the judgment is… my wife, our children can go on and live our lives.
“This isn’t something we want to be part of.”
