Doctor reveals gruesome side-effect of woman’s boob job – and viewers are all saying the same thing
A DOCTOR has revealed the gruesome side-effect of a woman’s boob job, leaving people horrified.
Dr Anthony Youn, a holistic plastic surgeon from Michigan, US, filmed the removal of the unnamed patient’s breast implants, and what was left behind.

But she had decided to get them out because “over the last couple of years she has developed symptoms consistent with breast implant illness (BII),” Dr Youn explained.
BII may develop after having breast implants, but it is not a recognised condition.
Symptoms include joint and muscle pain, fatigue, breathing problems, mental health issues and more.
Dr Youn shows a picture of the patient before and immediately after the operation.
In the TikTok post, which was liked 188,000 times and viewed more than three million times, he says: “She’s going to continue to look better and better as she heals.”
He then shows the silicone implants still intact, in a plastic bowl after removal, and explains there is technically nothing wrong with them.

But what disgusted viewers was the scar tissue he removed from the patient’s chest.
It’s completely normal for scar tissue to form around a foreign object in the body, and is what keeps breast implants in place, according to Healthline.
In around 10 per cent of women who have boob jobs, the protective capsule around the implant can tighten, called capsular contracture, and cause severe pain.
It’s not clear if the woman experienced capsular contracture.
The operation to remove breast implants and the scar tissue is called a capsulectomy.
But many viewers of the video were shocked that scar tissue was typical for someone whose had a boob job – after all, it’s not something you see every day.
One of the more than 1,000 comments said: “The scar tissue is that normal??? Asking for a friend.”
“Scar tissue looks gnarly,” said another person.
Someone else agreed: “I audibly gasped at the scar tissue.”
“That looks like the cheese we get on our pizza for school lunch,” one user said.
“A warning about the scar tissue would have been nice,” said another follower.
Meanwhile, other viewers shared their own experiences of BII and breast implants.
One follower revealed: “I have so much scar tissue from my removal. Happy they are out but the scarring for me makes me feel mutilated.”
Another said: “I got my toxic bags out 3 months ago! I was so sick.”
“I got mine removed after 3 years and all my symptoms went away! The colour immediately came back to my face,” another user commented.
Someone else added: “I had an explant and capsulectomy in 2018. Best decision ever!!”
“I also had BII – had them taken out after only 6 years. It’s real!!” said another user.
Other users expressed they wanted their own implants removed after watching the clip, while others were put off having implants at all.
One person said: “This just cancelled my want for implants.”
