[Men's Lacrosse] SAU tabbed as runner-up in KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll
St. Ambrose men's lacrosse was picked as the runner-up in the KCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Bees nabbed five first-place votes in the poll and totaled 89 points, coming behind Columbia's 94 total points. SAU finished second in the regular season a year ago and fell to Columbia in the KCAC title game.
St. Ambrose will be led by first-year head coach, Jon Paul, as they hope to return to the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Invitational. The Bees fell to Keiser last season in their first-ever appearance at the Invitational and finished with a 13-4 overall record.
SAU will begin their season on Thursday, February 17th, taking on Indiana Tech at Grand Park in Westfield, Ind.
