Report: Spurs staff put on alert to prepare medical for potential new arrival
Tottenham Hotspur’s backroom staff have been put on alert to prepare a medical for the potential arrival of Adama Traore.
Football Insider claim that Tottenham had a bid of £22.75million million accepted by Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday and the north Londoners are finalising the move this weekend.
The package is said to be made up of an initial £20million payment, along with a further £2.75m which is dependent on performance and all parties believe that the deal will be concluded by next week following the agreement of personal terms.
Traore, who has 18 months left on his contract, is part of the Wolves squad which has travelled to London for this afternoon’s Premier League game at Brentford.
Earlier this week, Wolves were said to have rejected a £15million offer from Spurs, having signed him from Middlesbrough for £18million in August 2018 (BBC).
Spurs boss Antonio Conte is said to believe that he can transform the Spaniard into a right-wing-back, having done similar with Victor Moses during his time at Chelsea.

Hopefully, Tottenham can get this deal wrapped up in the next 48 hours and start moving onto other transfer targets, while also moving out some of the fringe players and Tanguy Ndombele to help balance the books.
